Abby Paloma is a yoga teacher, healer and local food activist. Abby’s work is to connect people to the source of their nourishment— their breath and food. A graduate of Gallatin at New York University, she holds a self-designed degree in neuroscience and transformational psychology. Abby has been teaching since 2008 as a certified OM yoga and Restorative Yoga teacher. She continues to assist and study with her teachers; Judith Lasater, Elena Brower, and the plants. She has received further certification in Reiki, Permaculture, Prenatal yoga, Yoga for cancer survivors and Anatomy.
Through clear instruction and heartfelt sensitivity, Abby’s teaching offers her students the time and space to dive inward to do their own healing work. Abby is honored to teach regularly at NYC studios and holds workshops combining the benefits of Restorative Yoga and Reiki. Abby is the founder of Farm To Yoga, a movement that unites yoga communities with their local farmers. Currently, Abby splits her time between farm life at Growing Heart Farm in Pawling, NY and city slicking in NYC, where she is a devoted practitioner of conscious living with her food, thoughts, words and actions.
